Lexicon MC-10 Receiver
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OVERVIEW
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This driver integrates an Lexicon MC-10 Receiver into your Control4 project. This receiver features
child drivers to unleash the full control of the Network, USB, and Tuning capabilities.
Please follow the setup below and ensure that the receiver is functional through means
of the remote or on screen display before integrating into Control4.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HARDWARE SETUP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Power on the unit and connect a hdmi monitor to any of the hdmi outputs to enable the on
screen display. Choose the method of communication by navigating to the setup menu and then
into general setup to choose IP or RS232 under the control property.
2. Physically connect whichever means of communication was chosen in the property.
3. Wire and install any audio/video sources and any audio/video outputs.
4. If using USB as a source, connect up a USB device with pre loaded music to the
usb slot on the back of the device.
5. If using AUX port, connect up an auxiliary cable to the music source on the front of
the device.
6. Follow any other Lexicon setup instructions provided with the device and then
continue onto the composer setup.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
COMPOSER SETUP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Add the driver to the project and connect up the means of communication.
Enter an IP Address in the network tab if using network communication or connect
the serial cable and binding to the controller if using serial communication. If using serial,
it is advised to physically wire up the cable, and then make the Control4 binding.
2. Bind up any audio and video connections that will be used for source selection. Bind
up the rooms that will be controlling Zone 1 and Zone 2. Zone 2 does not provide all of
the sources that Zone 1 provides, so be sure to hide those if neccessary.
3. Ensure that the Last Received Serial Data or Last Received Network Data property have
been updated with a timestamp.
4. Refresh navigators.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Network Player, USB, and FM Radio sources are intended to be used in conjunction
with the OSD. The On-Screen Display can be used with the UI to navigate through the menus,
make selections, and adjust volume/mute. Refer to the Lexicon product manual to see what
commands work with the currently selected source.
Any commands that did not fit the Control4 UI are represented as device specific commands
and are defined below.
FM Radio, the tuner does not support manual channel selection, but what the keypad will do
is navigate through presets. By pressing the number + pound, the tuner will navigate to that
preset.
